In order to makes your toner cartridge can work normally,
we suggest
1. Put your laser printer in air conditional environment.
2. Install cartridge into laser printer with correct
direction
3. Don't open the light anti cover & touch sensitive
surface.
4. Don't shake and rotate the sensitive drum.
Normal defaults of toner cartridge.
1. Powder leakage, it is because of powder accumulated
on magnetic stick during the transportation and working.
Simple solution is turn around the drum in clockwise
direction.
2. More than 1cm width longitudinal darkness track
in the printing file. It is usually being thought of
powder leakage, in fact it is sth wrong with the scrape
board.
3. Slim longitudinal darkness line in the file, it
is caused by dirty objects and small piece paper on
the scraper.
4. Latitudinal darkness line, it is because of powder
gathering on the magnetic stick, just turn around the
clockwise. Problem will be solved.
5. Grey shadow on the file, it means the drum chip
and powder wrong.
6. Printing colors dis-equilibrate and with obviously
white track. That means the powder has been used up.
7. Blank paper appears when you printing, you may need
check the printer first, if it is good then there should
be sth wrong for toner installation
Powder refill
Toner recycle technology comes from USA, using spent
cartridge to refill the powder. American think
1. Only one time used original toner cartridge absolutely
can be remanufactured.
2. If the toner cartridge is no remanufactured and
just used one time. The environment will be polluted
greatly due to large waive qty.
Using qualified toner cartridge
Currently remanufactured toner cartridge is widely
used in western developed country. After lots of years
practice, the remanufacturing technology in our company
comes into mature. That makes us know better about the
advantages of using remanufactured toner cartridges.
1. Original toner after first time use, the main parts
such as drum, scraper board, and electronic power stick
are all on good status and can be reused after technical
treatment. Usually it can be recycled 1-3 times per
toner. In other words it will greatly reduce the toner
consumption and save the environment.
2. Practice shows us there is no bad impact to printing
performance; also the remanufactured toner can print
same qty paper as original one.
Printing Quality Issues
1. White track line---the most probably reason is no
powder. Take out the toner and lightly shake it left
and right, put into printer again, if there is no apparent
improvement. It means no powder. But if there are still
have lots of powders in the toner and have above same
phenomena. That means your toner damaged. And you may
need change it.
2. Lost contents in continuous printing---it is because
of no sufficient printer memory to deal with the complicated
description message of files, you may need low dpi or
add printer memory.
3. Dirty dots in the file---it is because of the powder
gathering, you may need clean the inner paper tracker,
also can print three pages with only one word file to
clean the inner components. If it doesn't work, suggest
you to change the powder box and toner.
4. Mess characters on the file----operate printer self
check system to make sure no hardware problem, check
printer cable and connecter. Print test paper in the
windows to see the drive program is set up correct or
not, check the application program to see if there is
any problems.
5. Can't print after change main board and computer----it
is may wrong set up of I/O, need you change it BIOS,
also can exchange ECP printer port with printer port
via following path---Control board---system---instrument
management---connector---property---drive program--- change
drive program---show all instruments.
Toner cartridge installation
Take out the toner from the package, draw out the seal
completely then rotate the toner shaft makes the powder
equally on the toner.
Parallel lines defect---normally it means little powder
in the toner, take out the toner, shake it left and
right and re install it, problem will be solved, if
the parallel lines appear again, you may need use new
toner.
Methods to handle paper jam--- Open the printer cover,
take out the toner, move the left side green switch
up to get enough gap. Use hands draw out the jammed
paper slightly.
Toner cartridge maintenance
1. Remove the toner components carefully and slightly,
use defatted cotton to clean up the components surface.
2. Use the defatted cotton with special cleaning solvent
to clean toner surface and dry the solvent.
3. Cover the drum surface with some talcum powder.
4. Clean the waste powder collector once your change
powder.
General knowledge of remanufactured toner cartridge
1. Installation and operation environments----Temperature:
10-30°C, Humidity: 20-80%
2. Using proper print medium---Rugate paper, thick
paper and hard paper will hurt the toner surface, some
film coat will unfreeze and adheres on the fixation
roller and damage the toner permanent. So be careful
to chose the printer paper and films.
3. Once you change the toner, you'd better use the
dust-collector to clean powder box position, use soft
cloth to clean the paper track and use the alcohol to
clean the outside electronic connector to keep good
conduct ability.
4. Rotate the roller gear a circle in the direction
of protection cove opened to see the sensitization roller
can rotate freely or not, if the user operates in reverse
direction that will cause powder leak.
5. Shake the toner 6-8 times to let powder equally
cover on the surface before you use it.
6. Generally if the printer remind you TONER LOW. The
printed color will have a little bit light. If you shake
the toner slightly now, it still can print 40-50 papers.
Refill the toner cartridge (HPC3900A, Canon EP-B)
Disassembly the toner----Put the toner on the flat
desk, taking out the small spring then using pliers
snatch out the both side metal dowel. Now the toner
is separated into waste powder collector with drum and
powder supply collector with magnetic roller.
Change the drum and scraper, Clean waste powder----Remove
the both side screw in the wasted powder collector,
remove the white plastic clip them draw out the drum
and electronic roller, remove the screw in the scraper
board. Clean waste powder and dry the surface.
Powder refill---if it is the first time to refill your
toner, do not need to clean the waste powder collector
and magnetic roller otherwise you are requested to do
cleaning action first. Take out plastic cover then put
the 4V/4C powder into the collector. Close the cover
and shake the roller to make powder equally in the cartridge.
Assemble the toner----Put powder supply collector and
waste powder collector back to their original position,
insert the metal dowel and fix the spring. After finishing
assembly, you need to push out the sensitization roller
baffle then rotate side gear to clean the powder left
on the drum surface then install the toner into printer.
Attention items
1. Once regular dark dots appeared, it means the sensitization
roller may be damaged and you need change a new one.
2. Refilled powder should be special laser powder with
high quality, or will affect the printing results.
