How to store the ink cartridge
Ink cartridges should be put in the environment of
normal temperature, no direct sun light shine and other
hot resources. Don't open the package and tear air hole
seal before using, install the cartridge as soon as
possible once you open the package or will affect the
print performance. You are request to use the cartridge
within six month after installation.
How to install the ink cartridges
Once ink used up signal glinting that means the ink
will be used up soon, but printer still can work normally
with the remaining ink. Once the lighting stop, you
should replace the ink cartridge immediately. Please
follow the instruction book to tear up the air hole
seal only and install it or will cause the ink leakage.
Normally you should clean the printer head before the
new cartridge comes to work. Any doubt of quality, pls
draw out the cartridge, seal it with plastic bag then
contact local distributor for help
Who affects the printing performance?
Print medium and DPI---different brand paper, different
quality act different performance. Different DPI you
chose, different performance you have.
How to handle the ink leakage
There is a air hole in body cartridge to keep the same
pressure inside and outside, if the temperature changes
sharply, the air in the cartridge will expand quickly
and rise the inside pressure. If the air hole can't
balance the pressure immediately, ink leak out. Once
it happens, you just need to clean the ink and wait
a little while. The problem will be solved, remember
don't touch the nozzle while cleaning.
Why there is the color feeble and how to handle it
1. Air comes into the cartridge cavity and spray nozzle.
2. Printer head aging and damage
3. Wrong computer setting
To solve it, you need
1. Clean the nozzle several times, if it doesn't work
yet, Please stop printing for 2 hours. Normally it will
be recover.
2. Exchange the spray nozzle.
3. Reset medium type and color
Why system shows no cartridge installation and how
to deal with
1. Power off status---the print head can't send the
installation messages to the chip on main electronic
board. Solution is press the paper feeder for a few
seconds till the print head moves back to original place,
open the cover, take out the cartridge and re-install
it.
2. Un-proper position of cartridge---if the new cartridge
is in the wrong position, the printer head can't touch
the nozzle chip connector, the printer will keep the
old procedure and can't verify the new installation.
Solution is re install it till ok.
3. Printer head aging and sensor out of date. Normally
life of printer head is consumed up 70 pcs ink cartridges.
Solution is asked for help from technicians.
Why short longevity of ink cartridge
1. Printer doesn't work often---the cleaning program
is stored in the main board chip, and depends on the
3v battery to provide the power after printer switch
off, this message will lose after 2-3days, if the printer
act this program so often. That will consume more ink
and shorten the life.
2. Misunderstanding of cleaning program---lots of user
operate the cleaning program once the poor printer effects
appear, actually there are lots factor cause-unsatisfied
performance. You are only allowed to carry out the program
in actual need or will shorten the life.
3. Wrong concept of DPI---as well know, high dpi cause
high print performance, For normal file, 360dpi is enough,
for high quality photo, 720dpi is ok. Don't always use
high dpi since higher dpi consume more ink.
Relative factors with the cartridge life
1.When you use color ink cartridge, please balance
use the magenta, yellow and cyan, if you just focus
on one color and used up it, even there is another ink
remaining. The printer can't work yet.
2.Higher dpi you chose, more ink you need
3.Light color consume less ink, dark color consume
more inks.
